Port Clinton, Ohio is located on the southern coast of Lake Erie and is home to a lot of wedding venues and tourist attractions. It gives east coast vibes. It gives small beach town feels. Surprise!  You are actually in Northern Ohio – just a short drive from my home base. In particular, Port Clinton is home to Twin Oast Brewery which is a popular wedding venue and weekend attraction for locals and tourists alike. The property includes a brewery and restaurant, a bridal suite for getting ready, an outdoor or indoor ceremony option, and the coolest castle-like structures for an outdoor party or reception. With its access to fruit tree orchards, fields of flowers, landscaped gardens, and a heated Pergola, it’s accommodating for photographers in any season. Wedding venues that take the time to make beautiful photo opportunities all year round are my favorite. This is a great option if you’re looking for a unique wedding venue that isn’t a barn.

I had the pleasure of taking photos for Brock and Kehly on their wedding day in August of 2022. They held their intimate ceremony at Twin Oast and their reception right along the sandy beach a couple of miles down the road. While some choose to stay at Twin Oast all day, others choose other reception spaces in the area. This makes Port Clinton a busy time during peak wedding season.
