Working with me for your engagement session feels easy, fun, and very you. I’ll guide you through the planning, help you dream something up, and make sure it never feels stiff or overly posed. YOU CERTAINLY DO NOT HAVE TO BE ENGAGED TO BOOK A COUPLE'S SESSION WITH ME THOUGH!
I love engagement sessions that are personal and a little unexpected — the kind that reflect who you actually are. Your favorite places, your go-to activities, the things you love doing together. Nothing about my approach is basic, and your photos shouldn’t feel like they could belong to anyone else.

NEWLY ENGAGED?
i'm here to capture your story
Working with me is laid back and casual from the very beginning. You can expect emojis in my texts, lots of LOLs and HAHAs, and probably a few voice memos along the way. I’m there with you through the entire process, not just on your wedding day.
I photograph weddings anywhere and everywhere, in any season, no matter what your day looks like. Big, small, sunny, rainy, perfectly planned or beautifully chaotic — I’m all in. Wedding days are incredibly special to me. There’s just something magical about the energy of it all, and I don’t take for granted that I get to be right there documenting it.
It all started in 2020 with seniors, families and couples - anyone who would say yes to letting me take their photos! As time went on, I got into second shooting weddings and fell in LOVE.
Quickly going full time in 2022 focusing solely on weddings and couples and all the ooey gooey things that go along with the wedding industry got me into a lot of really beautiful and super unique events! The design, florals and aesthetics of those days really spoke to me and ignited my creativity. I knew from there what I wanted Sarah Heuerman Co to be all about…designing the events you dream about!
Sarah was nothing but extraordinary through the whole wedding planning process! She was exactly what I needed to be stress free. She took charge on the wedding day and everything was so smooth! She was on schedule and kept things moving."
