01. On the Coast
I am an absolute sucker for a beach and not in the “sandy, sunshine in your face, lots of people and ice cream stands” beaches, but the northern shore, rocky and tree lined edges that rarely see more than a couple visitors a day. The coastline of Maine and extended into the other ocean-bordering New England states is where I am at most in-awe of our natural world. Check out places like Bar Harbor, Kennebunkport, or Damariscotta, Maine when considering a travel session!
02. Indiana Dunes National Park
A very random but equally gorgeous suggestion of mine for a travel session location would be Indiana Dunes National Park. A mere drive from Chicago, but a world of differences. This place offers such a unique perspective that you truly can’t get anywhere else. Known for its greenery that thrives in the sand, you won’t find another area of sand dunes with as much life as these. Picking this as a spot for your photos opens up a world of beautiful possibility.
03. Grand Tetons National Park
Grand Tetons National Park. Do I need to say more? Blooming with life and color in the late spring and summer, you’re bound to be blown away by the mere landscape and that itself is a worth-while picture to take. Imagine spending an evening with the person you love, admiring a landscape scene almost too good to be true!
04. NYC, baby!
Going a much different route from all of the locations described before, the Big Apple can’t be forgotten. Looking for a more urban place to get photos done? Let’s hop on the subway and stop on a street in SoHo where you can walk hand in hand with your partner admiring the beauty of the city. Photos in this city will give an elevated, sophisticated and modern feel you need for that gallery wall you’ve been wanting to hang in your house.
